Claims Analyst [Greece]


 

Main Purpose:

As a Claims Analyst in Trafigura you will prepare, analyse and review several types of claims, not limited to demurrage, from and to ship owners and counterparties, interacting internally with all commercial teams, aiming to maximise profit and minimise loss for the Group Demurrage.
This is a role within a dynamic team of experts, which offers unparalleled knowledge, expertise and global exposure by handling all claims for the Trafigura Group.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Demurrage Analysis
  • Negotiation of all claims and communication with owners/counterparties
  • Review and analysis of all type of non-demurrage claims
  • Report p&l to internal stakeholders

Abilities, Experience and Qualifications:

  • University Degree
  • Understanding of basic shipping terms, claims or operations will be an asset
  • Experience in similar position will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong digital literacy in MS office applications
